Kate has been a Realtor since 2004, specializing in first-time homebuyers and move-up buyers as well as condominium sales in downtown Grand Rapids. She holds an Associate Broker’s license and has achieved the Graduate, Realtor Institute (GRI) and Accredited Buyers Representative, (ABR) designations from the National Association of Realtors. She is a third-generation Realtor; her maternal grandfather, Erwin Johnson, was in the real estate business for over 20 years.
Kate is a former member of the Greater Regional Alliance of Realtors Board of Directors. She is also served on the board for the Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital Leading For Our Kids organization. She earned her real estate license while a student at Hope College and graduated in 2004 magna cum laude. Kate, her husband, Matt, and their twin daughters reside in East Grand Rapids and are members of Westminster Presbyterian Church.
